Meet Courtney

I’m so glad you stopped by!!

My baking story started on a little stool in my grandma’s kitchen, rolling out pie dough by her side. Today, her prized pie plate sits in my cupboard. I grew up cooking and baking for anyone who’d let me, finding joy in feeding people. And somewhere along the way, I discovered that I actually do like scones… as long as they aren’t the dry, crumbly kind. Turns out, bad scones are just that — bad scones. Not at all a fair representation of what they were meant to be.

Since then, I’ve baked more scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cookies, and pies than I can count for friends, family, and co-workers. For me, cooking and baking is love in edible form. If I make food for you, it’s because I care about you. 🖤 For me, sharing food is one of the sweetest ways to spread a little joy.

My faith in Jesus reminds me that my hope isn’t in what I can do or what people think, that the hard things are temporary, and that small acts of love and kindness truly matter — you never know what someone else is walking through. I believe there’s something sacred about making room for people, whether through a simple act of kindness, an open door, or a shared table where people can feel cared for, welcomed, and known.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll probably find me with my husband and our three young kiddos, chasing adventure (and probably cleaning up crumbs). Life is messy, sweet, and full of surprises — kind of like baking itself.

Grateful you’re here. May what we bake remind you that joy and butter are always worth sharing.
